This doctor rejected me as a patient in a really rude, hurtful, and unprofessional way *during* my appointment (not before) because he assumed I was too poor to do everything he would want me to do. He is only interested in wealthy patients, apparently. He also told me my case was stressing him out, making him shake, and he couldn't do that to himself.
After months of tests and bills and no answers, while feeling worse and worse, I decided to look for a Doctor educated on Lyme. I submitted a request and Dr. Clark's name came back on a list. I called the office and was very pleased with the nice woman who talked with me on the phone. I was shocked she was able to offer me an appointment sooner than 3 months from now! I arrived for my appointment and wasn't sure what to expect, I had never been to a Naturopathic before and didn't know much about it. I don't pretend to eat healthy or even exercise really, and was skeptical that Dr. Clark might just try to sell me a bunch of herbs and oils. I was beyond impressed with my entire experience, and I don't use those words lightly. Dr. Clark takes the time to LISTEN to you, many don't even do that, and what's more is he explained what his thoughts were on my condition as well as why. He even explained treatment options and went into great detail on everything. I left with a print out of everything we talked about so I didn't have to take notes or try to remember everything. I also felt he was conscious of my financial investment and wrote orders so I could do tests at a place my insurance would cover rather than just doing them himself. My insurance does not cover my time with Dr. Clark, and although money is tight for my family, he is worth every penny. I encourage anyone who thinks they might have Lyme, or who is just looking for answers, to schedule a visit. Dr. Clark doesn't just look for Lyme, he looks at the whole picture and explores and explains other things as well. I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to share my experience in hopes of helping others who might be in my situation.
Dr. Clark has done a great job working with us and our various health concerns. He's informative, but also presents us with different options and paths we might take when addressing them. Have recommended him to others.
