Beautiful and quiet! The lake is tranquil this time of the year and provides lots of mirror images of the foliage.
I love to go here with my friends lol. You have to pay but,it's kinda worth it..But, there are leaches on one whole side of the park. If I were you I would go to albea beach if you Don't want to pay. I like going here because, it's not as crowded but it is very peaceful. You can also blast out kpop,or dance like a crazy person if you want (call me when you blast out kpop, and tell me when your gonna start dancing for me to get out of wolfboro).
Great place for a summer swim, not as crowded as of state parks.
Can't say enough about this little gem tucked in alongside a scenic road. Small enough that it really can't get too crowded. Very very friendly staff. Changing rooms. Bathrooms. A couple of porta potties. BBQ pits available. Handicap tables such that one end of MOST of the tables will allow wheelchair access. A beautiful lake. Clean water. Kayak access. A couple of outside water spigots. Just be really careful about the slide in the afternoon. The kids say it's so hot it'll toast your buns.
Lake Wentworth, little sibling to Winnipesaukee is frozen solid and a great place for winter fun. Shown here is an ice-boater enjoying an afternoon sail. The Lakes Region of New Hampshire is year round fun and a great place to raise families. Come explore it for yourself.
